Since you already have a 360 installed why not refresh it? There are many options for more power but what is reasonable for a 70+ year old vehicle that's more comfortable going slow than going fast. Unless you plan to upgrade the whole power/drivetrain the 360 is a good choice for the engine. If you're wanting to go auto, a 727 is probably and good choice married to an NP205. The 4BT in a PW is ok if you like the vibration and noise, be can experience heating issues pulling grades. How much cab room in an already short cab are you willing to give up for a 6B bragging rights? Diesels are a good engines, good torque, and heavy requiring more spring leaf's in front. Depending what you want out of an engine, build the 360 accordingly, less work. If you like Chevy's, go with one of those, but keep in mind, what's reasonable for an older vehicle if it's just an engine swap.
