Electric fuel pump

With summer coming, I am interested in discussing aux electric fuel pumps and cut off switches for PWs. I have suffered with vapor lock so i am contemplating installing an electric fuel pump near the tank on my truck. Do I need a relay switch? How should it be done- tips etc.
