So would a good electric 6 volt pump like a Carter, mounted close the tank so its pushing, then make a block off plate for mechanical pump be a good change for our trucks? I am a little worried about the failure of these no doubt import pumps and the arm failure. If the shorten the pin and stake in place is fool proof possibly no worry then. Thanks.
