FFPW power steering mount

Ok where are the experts on modifying the frame for steering pump? I purchased a power steering kit with pump and bracket. The bracket is bolt on in place of factory gearbox, however, in order to mount the pump to bracket I'll have to cut a half moon shaped piece out of the top frame piece. My concern is weekening the frame since it's right above front axle. Anyone with experience doing this? Thank you
