It's been getting worse. I just took the truck for a bumpy trip over the hill with a light load and now the left side sits hard on the overload spring all the time, while the right side has 2" clearance between the overload spring and its contact points. I would post pictures but that's not easy here. There is no obvious broken leaf. Either there's a crack where I can't see it or they all lost their temper (on the right side only). Looks like it's time to bite the bullet and either try to find another spring pack or take it to Pohl Spring and see what they can do.

First of all, does anyone in the PNW have a rear spring for a '62 D300 they'd be willing to sell reasonable? Second, if I go ahead and take it out now is it reasonable to just block up the frame and cut the U-bolts? Should I try to save the U-bolts? How about the shackle pins? Save them or cut them? Things are pretty rusty.
