How to tell in X-fer case is lined up correctly?

On my ongoing quest to smooth out my carryall driveline, I've began to wonder if my transfer case mounting has been tweaked. There has to be an angle spec-ed for this somewhere. Does anyone know where the info on how to check its alignment would be?
