WDX's are all 1-tons. Around 1948 they stopped calling them WDXs and started calling them B1s, then B2, B3, then they started the C series. In the late 50s they started calling them WM300s. That continued until 1968. They still looked basically the same as 1946 WDX.
A W300 is a one-ton that shares similar sheetmetal (as well as engine options, etc.)to the 2WD truck of the same year. A W200 is a 3/4-ton 4x4. A W100 is a 1/2-ton 4x4.
The 3/4-ton military truck (M37s,WWII WC series, etc.) happen to share many drivetrain components as the WDX-WM300 trucks.
