Willy: Don't get hung up on 7:00 for #1.
1) Make sure you are really at TDC. take that 1/8" plug out of #6. When six is at TDC so is one.
2) Then look at the rotor and see which plug it points to. Make that #1. Going clockwise check the firing order. You can put a meter on the points to make sure it opens right before TDC, but to get it running it is not critical.
this is not hard and should not be a lot of drama. Our 230 engines can have the distributor 180 degrees off, but if you know #1 is at TDC and put the plug that is firing to #1 it will run.
