85 90 GL4 is what I run. the GL5 seems to get too thin in the summer. 140 too thick. you would never get into gear in the winter in Idaho. ;/) In Alaska they run 30 weight or lighter in winter. in AZ all 140. military manuals have great reading about what oils to run in different climates
