I have had good luck pulling all the sparkplugs and filling the cylinders with a penetrating oil like WD-40 and let it sit for maybe a week. Then pour some mystery oil into each one and let that work for a day. Then you can get a big wrench on the crankshaft nut and work it back and forth or put the car in high gear and roll it gently back and forth (manual trans only).
