Painless Wiring on WDX

My mechanic has reached his limits regarding completing the wiring on my truck using the generic Painless kit I have as his prior experience is limited to rewiring his 57 Chevy. Any suggestions as how to proceed? I know some of you have used the Painless kits which apparently aren't really "painless". Any volunteers for technical assistance?
