All Hemi and Poly blocks from 1955 to 1966 have the same rear block-face bolt patterns. So the bells should be interchangeable. I think Harry may be refering to the 1962 change in transmissions from cast to aluminum.??? Before 1962 the cranks from automatics were not machined for manual trannies and need to be machined for the pilot bushings. Other than that it should work, BUT as with anything measure twice, buy once!
