One is from a 1960 D-100 that had a 230 L-head bolted to a V-8 universal type bellhousing w/NP420 tranny and I have compared it to the one I took out of a 1964 D-100 that had a 318 V-8 bolted to a V-8 universal type bellhousing w/3spd tranny. They both appear the same except the 60' BH is of a better casting w/ a thinner flange area (stronger material used?) than the 64'BH w/ thicker flange area and overall bulkier and seems slightly heavier.
Both have the needed bolt and dowel holes to mate the L-head,V8, and slt-6 (using a bottom brace on one side as was customary).
