Once again, it seems the fuel industry is giving the consumers another reaming. Lately gas prices around our area have dropped to around $2.65/gallon. It's no doubt lower in other parts of the country. (I remember paying .17 9/10 per gallon in the '50s)
But the amazing thing to me is that diesel remains at $3.75/gallon. Why does the cost of diesel, which should cost less to process, stay higher than gasoline?
