This will bum you out but I was once over there too. Saw a ad in the paper for 40 acs view of the Cascade Mountains, great well and your own lake for $39,500.00 I thought they were pulling my leg. Came over and bought it, first place I looked at. It is even on a County Road with power and phone at the street! 16 years ago. They still sell land at $1,000.00 a acre but you need to make sure about access, power and most of all water!
