In preparation to fill out Greg Coffin's O.D. survey, I went out this afternoon to determine my axle gear ratio on my '53 B-4-PW. I was expecting the drive shaft to revolve either 4.9 or 5.8 revolutions with each single revolution of the suspended tire. To my surprise, the driveshaft revolved approximately 2.9 times with each single revolution of the tire! What am I missing or doing wrong and is there any significance to the mystery that 2.9 X 2 equals the expected 5.8?? Thanx, Bruce Metzger Woodland Park, CO
