Trying to remove the main vent tube from a Carter Ball & Ball carb. It's recessed way up in a diagonal passage from the bottom. No way to push it out from the top. Too far in to grab with needle-nose pliers. Too stuck to pull out with tweezers or knock out by hitting the bowl on a block of wood. I found a repair manual that says to use tool T109-195 to remove it. I don't happen to have one of those wonderful tools.
Anybody have any good ideas on how to get it out w/o a T109-195? Given all the gunk elsewhere in this carb, I really want to remove the vent tube and clean it out.
