Shout out to San Jose Generator

Getting ready to pull the engine on the 48PW. I brought the rusted 6V generator and the voltage regulator along with a second VR to San Jose (CA) Generator. He first tested the generator. It motored by itself inconsistently then he cleaned the brush contact surface with a piece of leather and then ran the generator again and it worked fine. Next he tested it with the VRs. One worked one didn't. No charge. This is 3rd generation shop and he will be the last. Business is just not there and kids not interested. If you need that type of service give them a call.
