can some one help me with some basic ignition problems.have an old willys cj3b I am trying to get running.
Was running a couple of years ago, but I had the coil and gen. out and now I need help putting the wires back. Questions:
shouldn't the - post of the coil be wired to the distrib.?
how many wires should be hooked to the + post of the coil?
does the gen. need to be hooked up for engine to fire?
shouldn't the wire on the + of the coil be hot if the switch is on?
The motor turns over, but want fire.
can anyone help?
