There is a five step process to get a good powder coat job .
sand blast to white metal . Cook , Phosphate wash , cook , primer coat high in zinc , partial cook , then the topcoat and the final cook .
Some companies take short cuts - like powder coating hot rolled metal and leaving the scale on ,,,,,,,
