where to begin

Hello all,
just joined the brotherhood I am now the proud owner of a 1952 B-3-PW.
I have been pondering where to begin, besides getting it off the trailer, i got that much out of the way. : )

It has been sitting for 20 years but the owner drove it and parked it where i got it, i am thinking that it will start once i flush it and let some Marvel Mystery oil sit in the cylinders for a few weeks.

one of the questions i have been debating is:
Do i tear her right down or do i try to get it running first? not sure which way to go.
Also since i am out west here in Utah, these are much more rare and hard to get parts, Any body else in my neck of the woods?
