I agree with Joe and several of the others.
In my case with my first power wagon, I started right into the resto, and as a result could not drive it for almost 8 years.
I decided that if I ever got another "runner", I would work on it so I could steer safely and stop it, etc., then decide later on resto or rebuild in stages, so it would not be out of commission for long periods.
