My cab was sprayed with Ospho to prevent flash rusting. I figured since it was in the garage it would be OK and I could do the metal work first and paint later.

It's worked OK, but I have started seeing some minor flash rust in places, so if I were to do it over I would probably prime first and then do the repairs.

That does of course mean you will have to re-prime once your done though.
