All the WDX-WM300 Power Wagons had the New Process 200 transfer case, also known as a 39360 (Chrysler number?). The 200 is the same case as that used in the WC 62/63, with the lower 1.96:1 low range gears. I believe all the Power Wagons came with the 1.96:1 low range gears, but I may be wrong about the first few WDXs off the line. The case itself does not have any ID numbers that I am aware of.
The low gearing you notice is from the 5.83 axle gears multiplying all that torque.
Your tranny is known as a New Process Spur-Gear transmission. I don't know what case number is on it, but the Chrysler number is 921869.
Hope this helps.
