I saw the big NP205,203,200 discussion down below but I didn't see what transfer case the early powerwagons were equipped with.
What transfer case is on my 1947 WDX?
I have often wondered this.
I didn't see a number but I did see the 196:1 ratio. I didn't see a period making it 1.96:1, which is it?
I always heard that the NP205 (and its related cousins) was the strongest case but wasn't as popular because of a high gear ratio. SO the PW must be obtain its exeptionally low gearing fromt the transmission right? What number is the tranny?
