there is a reason the top cone is bronze. it is stronger than the bearing. if you are not offroading the truck every weekend the bearing will problaby be fine. I dont even have a PW or WC on the road these days but when I do I tend to be kind of hard on them so I always run the bronze cone. as long as you are moving its easy to steer. ;/)
