Get the OD trans by all means. Running the numbers you will be turning 1814rpm @ 65mph with your gears and 39.5" tires, and O.D. The 35" tires will push your rpm up to 2050 @ 65mph.
I am running a 4bt in a Jeep TJ with the stock AX15/231 OD trans/t-case,1997 F350 axles, 4.56 gears and 42" tires. So all in all we have about the same final drive ratio. I can confirm those figures are very close to what I see on my own vehicle. The best rpm for power/economy is about 1850-1950+-rpm. As soon as you said you were running the Ford D60 then the stock NP200 is out because the D60 has a left side pinion.
