I first posted this below, but decided it would get more response closer to the top.
At the risk of starting a big war over electronic vs points or electric fuel pump vs diaphragm, (although it is fun to read some of the opinions) what are the solid reasons for converting the flathead 6 to electronic?
Will it climb grades better? Better economy?
My engine is fired by points, and must be timed correctly, because it starts at the mere push of the foot pedal starter.
