I saw the short string on the 360's a couple of days ago. I might say that I have a 51 B-3PW that I am quite pleased with but I also have a 73 Dodge van with a 360 coupled with the 3 spd auto. I don't mind if I get 10 mpg if working it hard but it bothers me a little to get 10 MPG loafing down the hiway. Any suggestions out there on improving the economy a little? I would like to get it up to 13-15 mpg if possible for normal cruising. It has an aftermarket 4160 Holley w/Edelbrock intake on it now (thats the way it was when I got it. I realize that this is a high performance carb. What's the performance like on this motor with the original 2 bbl carb? Any help would be appreciated. This is a one ton van with lots of room for the dogs, parts, towing package, etc. So would like to make it work. Thanks in advance. No place else on earth to find such a concentration of Dodge knowledge!
