I have my intake and exhaust manifolds off to fix the summer/winter flapper that is stuck, and while I have the manifolds off I want to install new gaskets on the valve covers. The ones that were on it were cork, and the ones I have now look like a rubber type material. I wonder if it is worth it putting some kind of gasket sealer on them, or will that just create too much drama when I take them off again and they are stuck.... I could put some copper coat or some aviation gasket maker but that the aviation gasket maker is a pretty good adhesive too.
Thanks
Wayne
