Wayne, use 3-m BLACK silcone to put them on the valve covers(rubberized cork, I made mine) then put a good coating of wheel bearing grease on the side that contacts the block, snug down good and do not worry about it. ( let the silcone dry overnite if possible) so as not to squeeze it out. Dave. PS black is the only one that works. Dave.
