GMC V6 for PW's

In the mid 1960's GMC offered a truck V6 in pickups as well as in larger body series like dumps and school buses. Does anyone know the displacement/torque specs for this engine? And does anyone have any knowledge or experience regarding whether this would be a fitting transplant for a P.W. Can it be used with an original P.W. transmission?What would be the right combination of bellhousing/transmission with the least modification to motormounts and firewall. Thanx, for any info. Also, much thanx to Joe Cimoch for the devoted time and effort.
