front end steering wander

any tips to correct wander steering on a wc 3/4 with helitool power steering/ i completely rebuilt front end and reinstalled tie rod to same marks (painted shaft before removal and replacement of tie rods. steering does not feel precise. i can take to an alignment shop or do most anything myself, but am not sure what to be looking for. All new components, but just not as tight as I would expect. new pitman arm, new tie rod ends, disc brakes, etc. never ran ndts before, could that be the culprit? thanks!!
