M37 gauges on 12v- senders?

Will the normal 24v senders work on 12 volts?

My PW cab has had the dash hacked, with an axe, and an M37 style cluster panel screwed on.

I do like the idea of a removeable panel, but I have no senders. Hmm, I suppose I could swap gauges to new 12v with senders...
