My nephew's 1949 B-1-PW wants to die when you open the throttle fast. My guess is it is leaning out. It seems to be better with the choke mostly closed. The ignition seems good and it is the same on two different carburetors. I plugged off the vacuum ports for wipers and crankcase vent and it didn't seem to matter. I'll put a vacuum gauge on it next time I get a chance but am looking for hints.
