Any body know what's causing this? I'm getting a bogus oil pressure reading on my `77 M880. It always reads around 40 psi, even when the engine isn't running, except when the key is turned off. I've disconnected the wire at the pressure sending unit on the engine, still reads the same. I've even gone as far as pulling the wire out of the connector at the back of the instrument cluster and it still reads the same thing. I've replaced the gauge and still no improvement. I suspect there may be a short on the instrument cluster circuit board. Any suggestions?
