You can drill them, use a NEW drill bit slightly smaller than the diameter of the guide. Drill it down until you are about 2/3 of the way down. Carefully split out the top section - I used a solid shaft medium screwdriver and ground the blade so one side was approximately the same curve as the hole the guide goes in, then snapped the top piece off and carefully drove the screwdriver down the side of the guide to remove it in pieces - next take the drive tool and try again. Do them one at a time - plug the hole with some dowel or similar and soak well with penetrant - if it still doesn't go drill it deeper and repeat. You will likely find the tight spot and know how far down to drill the next one. Otherwise take it to a machine shop where they will probably press them out.
