My neighbor has this old car, an AMC "D/L", that's been stuck in the driveway for a year. I've never seen one of these cars before. It looks like a generic sedan from the 70s. It didn't run very well and they gave up working on it a year ago. It runs, but that's about it. Finally the other guy that uses the driveway got the first guy to move it. They pushed it between his house and mine so it's halfway in my yard now. He said somebody was going to buy it but his check bounced. It's a POS car, it's half way in my yard, and I don't think it's likely to ever go anywhere again unless I move it. I get along okay with the neighbor, but the car can't stay there forever. The question is is there anything on a '70s AMC that is useful for anything other than scrap? As I recall, when AMC was struggling to survive, their cars were sort of "mix-and-match" conglomerations of parts made by other companies. I can't find much on the Internet about an AMC "D/L". If there's anything useful on it, I'll offer to get rid of it for him.
