I restored a 47 for a customer that had both original factory tail light brackets and they were both bronze. he bought the truck from the original owner and ithad never been apart in its life. I think they cast in whatever was on hand material wise. kinda like other parts on the WCs and early PWs. sometimes bronze, somtimes not. ita all painted anyway.
