I think by "7", he means the truck is in pretty fair shape. You know - 7 on a scale of 1-10. But I am confused if he means he has split rims or split rings. Some people use the term "power wagon" generically. I have heard of people calling the early Dodge trucks from 1916 up through the 1930's "power Wagon". Didn't some of these have split rims? I look at split rings as being rather modern compared to split rims.
Also, does one correctly call the bolt together combat rims "split rims"? I have a WWII Jeep combat rim on my Newgren plow. I found it much easier to take apart and mount a tire on than a tube type drop center rim.
