I was wondering how that was supposed to work. Mine is the same way, after looking at some pics to decide which way it went.
I was cutting some wood for the gates on my M101 the other day, and was at just the right angle and noticed the same clearance problem.
I was wondering about flipping it over, or adding shims to get hitch farther out to let the tab clear the crossmember. I dont really wanna notch the crossmember...
