Well, Courtney's Fiancee burnt up the tranny on is Exploder out playing in deep water. He knew better, and was advised to not play with his daily driver, but, kids.
He asked if since I had some of the tools needed (metric, air, etc...) could I help him do it in my shop. Well being the guy I am I was cautious, but he was in need, so we started this morning.
Now 12+ hours later, the tranny is wedged between the exhaust and the body! His shop manual never said remove the exhaust, but I'm betting we should have. Now what to do?
Not sure I'll ever do a automatic tranny on something like this again, way too tight a fit and way too much stuff (and dried mud) under there. We haven't broke anything, yet, but did have to use a 3' extension to unbolt the tranny from the motor.
Dodge Content: I was wise enough to start up the 46 (red) PW and pull it out and park his exploder in the back of the shop, so it's not blocking anything in.
Will, NOT an Automatic Tranny removal guy!
