Question on Speedi Sleeves

My rear yoke on my 59 W200 axle was leaking oil so we took it out. The yoke has a wear groove in it so I was wondering if a Speedi Sleeve would take care of this. I've never been involved in using one so is this something I can install or do I need a machinist? Of could it I have a bead welded on and then turned to spec? Also who would carry a sleeve? TIA
