Thanks I was thinking along those lines much like installing a ring gear on a flywheel. Even goes back to the wooden wheel days of heating the tire to place on the wheel and cooling with water. Tim Holloway suggested a thin layer of JB Weld in the groove too. It's not that deep just enough to allow a leak. I'll read the directions twice. It will be nice not to have gear lube on the bottom of Stubby's bed and gas tank for a change. I'll post a progress report tomorrow.
