I agree, but I'd toss Hobart in there too. They're basically the "economy" division of Miller. Similar machine, just a little less powerful and without as many bells-and-whistles so they cost a little less.

I work in a Naval shipyard where lots of high quality welding has to be performed and all the equipment here is Miller. That was a pretty good endorsement for me.
