Could you explain why one of our engines would run better with an electronic ignition rather than the points and condenser? I am planning to keep running 6-volt, so it would not effect me anyway. I am just curious. I guess I can see the maintenance issue. No gaping of the points every year or so.

Also, each time I have lost a condenser, I have been over 100 miles from home. But, that is my luck.
