I’m a fan of the Heavy Duty and Chassis/Cab Ram. Big Cummins power and huge towing capacity. That being said, after just coming back from the Ram Challenge, LA,the 2009 1500 was one very impressive truck.
Responsive, rode and handled great, very little body roll, no leaf spring chatter and in the slalom course it goes where you point it.
The Ram Challenge offers the opportunity to drive the Dodge, then hop into a 2008 Ford, Chevy or Toy and duplicate the effort. Except they can’t match the ride or handling of the Dodge, over an identical course.
Dodge has put their truck on the line against the competition where you can see the difference for yourself.
Great new truck!
To top off the fun day, the Dodge Boys had a little surprise for me, and it wasn't a truck, we were drifting at 120 mph on the old Tustin Marine Airfield! In the new SRT8 Challenger. As someone who has driven the original Challenger, let me tell you, it's DNA is alive and well!!!
