Future models and products are not allowed to be discussed, but I can tell you that Daimler is being bought out of their 19.9% share. That could potentially free Dodge from the Sprinter.
Keep in mind that at this time, new products are very expensive to bring to market and cash flow in a down market is going to be spent on high volume, quick return, products. It's conceivable that in the future a less expensive, B type van could reach the market to replace the Sprinter.
What are the production numbers for Ford and GM? Any new van would have to sell in the 50,000+ unit range to be profitable enough to pay for the tooling, or an independent Dodge could just tell Mercedes to drop their inflated prices.
