This brake booster is from a 1952 B3 PW and was located beneath the driver's side floor access panel along the inner rail of the chassis and was connected to the rear brake lines. An electric rheostat, located just to the right of the speedometer, controlled the booster. The truck was used in a tree cutting business and I imagine the brake booster was used when the rear PTO was engaged while running a four foot saw blade.
Has anyone seen something like this and can you tell me where I can find information on it? I'll post a picture of the rheostat and the booster after removal.
