WWII WC 1/2 vs. 3/4 ton rear axle questions

Does the 1/2 ton WC with 14" rear brakes share the same rear hubs and brake drums as the later 3/4 ton WC? I see they share the same brake shoes, wheel cylinders, and spindle nuts.

I know the 3/4 ton axle is slightly longer than the 1/2 ton WC, but to the axle shafts share the same i.d. and spline count?
